Store owners running Squarespace Commerce often need their catalog to reach places beyond their own website, such as marketplaces, ad platforms, or comparison shopping feeds, without re-entering product data by hand. Connecting Squarespace to Feedance lets you keep a single source of truth for your product catalog and push consistent, up-to-date listings out to the channels you use, while pulling order information back in.

This matters most for stores that change prices, stock levels, or product details often. Manually updating multiple export files or channel dashboards after every catalog change is slow and error-prone. A direct connection between Squarespace and Feedance removes that manual step and reduces the risk of stale prices or overselling out-of-stock items.

Feedance connects to your Squarespace store through a secure, authorized connection. You grant Feedance permission to access your store's commerce data, and Feedance uses that authorization to read your product catalog, inventory levels, and orders directly from Squarespace.

No plugin installation or theme changes are required on your Squarespace site. Once the connection is authorized, Feedance keeps your catalog and order data synced in the background so you can focus on managing your store rather than managing exports.

Feedance works with exactly three data entities from any connected platform, including Squarespace:

• Plan tier matters. Squarespace's Commerce APIs, including the Orders and Inventory APIs, are only available on Squarespace's commerce-enabled plans. Stores on a basic, non-commerce plan will not expose this data through the API, so your plan needs to include commerce features for a connection to work.
• Products come in more than one type. Squarespace supports physical products, service products, digital downloads, and gift cards side by side in the same catalog. Digital and service products don't carry stock quantities the way physical products do, so inventory tracking mainly applies to physical, stock-managed items.
• Inventory is tracked per variant. If a product has variants, such as different sizes or colors, stock levels are tracked and updated at the variant level rather than at the overall product level.
• API request activity is rate limited. Squarespace enforces request limits on its Commerce APIs, so very large catalogs or high order volumes are synced in controlled batches rather than all at once to stay within those limits.

1. Sign in to your Feedance account and choose to add a new platform connection.
2. Select Squarespace from the list of available platforms.
3. You'll be redirected to authorize the connection with your Squarespace store credentials, granting Feedance permission to access your commerce data.
4. Once authorized, Feedance performs an initial sync of your products, inventory, and orders.
5. Review your synced catalog in Feedance and set up the feeds or exports you need for your sales channels.

Feedance keeps Squarespace product, inventory, and order data synced on a regular schedule, so changes you make in your store are reflected in Feedance without manual re-importing. Sync frequency can vary depending on your account settings and the volume of data being processed, so very time-sensitive stock changes may take a short while to fully propagate.

1. Write clear, keyword-relevant product titles and descriptions in Squarespace itself, since this is the source data your feeds will inherit.
2. Keep variant options (size, color, etc.) consistently structured so downstream feeds map cleanly to each channel's requirements.
3. Use high-quality product images at consistent dimensions, since image quality often affects approval and performance on external channels.
4. Regularly review stock levels on your physical products to make sure availability stays accurate across every channel you feed into.
5. Separate digital, service, and gift card products from your physical catalog when configuring feeds, since not every sales channel supports every product type.
