Because nopCommerce is self-hosted, it does not come with a built-in multi-channel feed management layer the way some hosted SaaS platforms do. Store owners are typically left to export product data manually or rely on custom scripts to keep marketplaces, comparison shopping engines, and advertising channels up to date.

Connecting nopCommerce to Feedance removes that manual work. Feedance keeps your product, inventory, and order data flowing automatically, so listings across your sales channels stay accurate as your catalog and stock levels change in your store.

Feedance connects directly to your nopCommerce store through a secure, authenticated connection to your store's data. Once connected, Feedance can read your product catalog, current inventory levels, and order data on an ongoing basis, and push supported updates back to your store, such as updated stock levels, without requiring manual file exports or custom development on your part.

Setup is handled entirely within Feedance and your nopCommerce admin panel. There is no need to build or maintain your own integration code.

Feedance works with three core data entities in nopCommerce. It does not access or modify customer records, coupons, gift cards, tax and shipping settings, or newsletter subscribers.

• Self-hosted infrastructure. Because nopCommerce is self-hosted rather than a managed SaaS platform, the availability and performance of your store's API depend on your own server and hosting setup, not on nopCommerce itself.
• API access is a separate module. nopCommerce exposes REST-based programmatic access through an installable Web API plugin rather than enabling it by default, so API access needs to be installed and configured in the admin panel before external tools can connect.
• Inventory tracking mode matters. nopCommerce lets store owners track inventory either by product or by product attributes (for variants), and multi-warehouse inventory tracking is only available in the by product mode. This affects how accurately stock levels can be reported for stores using product variants.
• Stock is reduced on shipment, not always on order. Depending on store configuration, nopCommerce can reduce stock quantity when an order is shipped rather than the moment it is placed, so inventory reads may reflect pre-fulfillment stock until an order is processed.

1. In Feedance, start a new platform connection and select nopCommerce.
2. Enter your store's URL and the connection credentials from your nopCommerce admin panel.
3. Authorize the connection so Feedance can securely access your store's data.
4. Choose which data — products, inventory, and orders — you want Feedance to sync.
5. Run an initial sync and review the imported data before publishing feeds to your sales channels.

Feedance syncs your nopCommerce data automatically on a regular schedule, with the exact frequency depending on your Feedance plan and the size of your catalog. You can also trigger a manual sync at any time if you need your product, inventory, or order data refreshed immediately.

1. Keep product titles and descriptions complete and consistent so they translate well into channel-specific feeds.
2. Use accurate categories and product attributes in nopCommerce so Feedance can map your catalog correctly.
3. Maintain clean, high-resolution product images, since image quality carries directly through to your feeds.
4. Keep your inventory tracking mode (by product or by product attributes) consistent across your catalog so stock levels sync accurately.
5. Review your synced product and inventory data in Feedance regularly before pushing updates to your sales channels.
