Big Cartel shops are often run by a single maker or a small team, so keeping product listings, stock counts, and order records accurate can quickly become a manual chore. Connecting your store to Feedance lets you manage your product data, inventory, and orders from one place instead of jumping between spreadsheets and the Big Cartel dashboard.

Feedance keeps your catalog information consistent and current, which reduces the risk of overselling sold-out items or listing outdated details, and frees up time you'd otherwise spend on manual updates.

Feedance connects directly to your Big Cartel store using a secure, authorized connection. You approve access from your own Big Cartel account, and Feedance then reads and updates your product, inventory, and order data on your behalf, without you needing to manually export or upload files.

Once connected, Feedance keeps a synced copy of your store data so it can build and maintain your product feed automatically as your catalog changes.

• Inventory tracking is plan-dependent. Big Cartel's free Gold plan does not include inventory tracking, so Feedance cannot sync stock levels for shops on that tier. Inventory tracking becomes available on the paid Platinum and Diamond plans.
• Free-plan shops have a small product limit. The Gold plan caps the number of products a shop can list, so feeds built from a free Big Cartel shop will reflect that smaller catalog size until the shop upgrades.
• Updates happen item by item. Big Cartel's platform does not support bulk batch updates, so larger catalogs are synced through a series of individual product and order updates rather than a single bulk operation.
• Product variants have their own limits. Options like size or color are capped per product, which is worth keeping in mind for catalogs that rely heavily on many variants.

1. Log in to your Feedance account and choose to add a new store connection.
2. Select Big Cartel as your platform from the list of available connections.
3. Authorize Feedance to access your Big Cartel store when prompted, using your Big Cartel account login.
4. Let Feedance complete its initial import of your products, inventory, and orders.
5. Review your imported catalog in Feedance, set up your feed rules, and turn on scheduled syncing so future changes stay up to date automatically.

Once connected, Feedance keeps your Big Cartel product, inventory, and order data updated on a regular automated schedule, and you can also trigger a manual sync at any time if you need your feed refreshed right away.

1. Write a clear, complete title and description for every product so your feed data is informative rather than generic.
2. Add high-quality images to each product listing, since Big Cartel supports multiple images per product.
3. Keep variant options like size and color consistent and clearly labeled across your catalog.
4. Enable inventory tracking on a Platinum or Diamond plan so stock counts stay accurate in your feed.
5. Regularly remove out-of-stock or discontinued products, especially on the free plan where product slots are limited.
