ACEShop is an e-commerce component built for the Joomla content management system. Rather than being a fully standalone shopping cart, it embeds a well-known open-source store engine directly inside Joomla as a native component (not a bridge or iframe), letting a Joomla-powered website run a complete online store — catalog, checkout, and order management — without leaving the CMS. It has historically supported several Joomla release lines and is distributed under an open-source license.

ACEShop is a smaller, more specialized platform compared to mainstream standalone carts. It is typically found on Joomla-based sites where the store owner wanted e-commerce functionality added to an existing content-driven website rather than adopting a separate dedicated shopping cart platform.

Feedance reads three groups of ACEShop data. Each one has a job in the feed.

Feedance connects directly to your ACEShop store using the credentials and access you provide during setup. There is no need to install a separate plugin, edit template files, or change your store's theme. Once access is granted, Feedance reads your store's product, inventory, and order data on a schedule and keeps it available for feed generation, exports, and further automation.

Because ACEShop stores can be configured and customized in different ways, the exact connection details (such as which access credentials are required) are confirmed with you during onboarding to match your specific store setup.

Feedance syncs your ACEShop data on a regular, automated schedule so that product, inventory, and order information stays up to date without manual re-exports. Exact timing can vary based on your plan and store size, and you can review or adjust sync behavior from your Feedance account once the connection is set up.

• Keep product titles and descriptions clear and complete in ACEShop, since incomplete source data will carry through to your feed.
• Use consistent, accurate stock levels in ACEShop so downstream channels never show items as available when they are not.
• Review your field mapping after making structural changes to your catalog (new attributes, categories, etc.) to make sure the feed keeps pulling the right data.
• Periodically spot-check exported feed items against your live ACEShop store to catch any drift early.
