Joblift is a Berlin-founded (2015) job search engine and recruiting-intelligence platform that aggregates job listings from thousands of partner job boards, employer career sites and staffing agencies, historically with a particular focus on blue-collar and grey-collar roles in Germany. Per Joblift's own published case study with Google Cloud, the platform ran on Google Kubernetes Engine across 150+ microservices, processed more than 60 TB of job-posting and job-seeker data (growing roughly 80 GB per day), and used machine-learning classifiers to deduplicate and cross-reference postings from 4,000+ partners into an internal dataset it called the "Jobiverse" -- at the time covering over 10 million live vacancies across Germany, the UK, the US, France and the Netherlands.
Important status update: On 16 July 2026, Adzuna announced it had acquired Joblift's assets after Joblift ran into financial difficulty (independent trade coverage from Dealroom and Job Board Doctor describes the prior state as insolvency; Adzuna's own announcement does not use that word). Per Adzuna's post, Joblift.de continues to operate as a standalone brand in Germany, keeping its local traffic partnerships, but now runs on Adzuna's technology platform. Joblift's operations in the UK, US, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands and France are being folded entirely into Adzuna and no longer exist as a separate destination. In practice, a "Joblift integration" today means a Germany-focused integration into a business now owned and operated by Adzuna.
For employers and staffing agencies with active German vacancies, feeding jobs to Joblift.de gives access to a meta-search audience built around blue- and grey-collar hiring (drivers, warehouse staff, skilled trades, care roles and similar) -- a segment where Joblift built specific regional depth even as larger aggregators like Indeed and Google for Jobs also compete for it. Joblift's own employer-facing pages describe both flat-rate advertising (packages from roughly EUR699-999 per month for a single listing with a minimum 30-day run) and performance-based pricing -- cost-per-click and cost-per-application -- available from a 20-listing minimum with budgets from around EUR2,500 per month, with reporting provided against those performance metrics.
Given the Adzuna acquisition, the practical case for prioritizing Joblift today is narrower than it would have been a year ago: it's a route to Germany-focused blue/grey-collar reach through an established local brand, now backed by Adzuna's broader traffic and matching technology -- rather than a way to reach the UK, US, French, Belgian, Italian or Dutch markets, which now route through Adzuna directly instead.
Joblift accepts job listings from employers in three ways: as an XML job feed, as a PDF, or via crawling of a careers page, with new postings going live within a maximum of 48 hours of submission, according to Joblift's own recruiting site. For employers without an existing feed, Joblift has pointed customers to its own recommended XML structure, and its support portal's contents page lists several named XML guide variants tied to different advertising products (referenced there as Basic, Boost, Organic Package, Talent and Reach XML guides), plus a separate JSON message specification for direct ATS integrations.
We were not able to retrieve the field-level contents of these guides for this page: they sit behind Joblift's Freshdesk support portal, which blocks unauthenticated access, and Joblift itself directs employers with feed-format questions to their assigned Customer Success Manager rather than publishing the schema openly. We're flagging that gap rather than guessing at tag names.
Because Joblift's exact XML tag names aren't public, the reliable way to connect is for Feedance to generate a feed against whichever guide variant (Basic, Boost, Talent, etc.) your Joblift or Adzuna account contact confirms applies to your contract, then keep that feed's job count, pricing tier and freshness in sync automatically. In practice: (1) confirm with your Joblift/Adzuna representative which feed guide and delivery destination applies to your account, since this varies by advertising package; (2) map your job data -- title, description, location, employer name, and application URL or ATS routing -- inside Feedance to that specification; (3) let Feedance host and refresh the resulting feed on a schedule so new postings, closures and edits propagate without manual re-uploads.
Given the ongoing Adzuna migration, it's also worth confirming directly whether a new integration should target Joblift.de's own systems or Adzuna's, since Joblift's technology is now described as running on Adzuna's platform.
Joblift states that submitted jobs go live within a maximum of 48 hours. To make full use of that turnaround and keep listings accurate -- filled roles removed, new roles added, edited details reflected -- we'd recommend refreshing the feed at least once every 24 hours. That cadence is standard practice among comparable job aggregators and leaves margin against Joblift's own stated 48-hour publishing window.
These are general job-feed best practices rather than confirmed Joblift requirements, since Joblift's own optimization guidance sits behind its gated support portal: keep job titles close to how candidates actually search rather than internal-only titles or jargon; include an accurate, specific work location per listing rather than only a head-office address, since blue/grey-collar candidates typically search by commute distance; remove or expire a listing the same day a role is filled, especially under performance-based (CPC/CPA) pricing where stale listings waste spend; and test application URLs or ATS routing regularly, since a broken apply link wastes any traffic the listing generates.
Is Joblift still operating? Yes, with a major caveat: Joblift ran into financial difficulty and Adzuna acquired its assets, announced 16 July 2026. Joblift.de continues as a standalone brand in Germany on Adzuna's technology; Joblift's business in the UK, US, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands and France has been folded into Adzuna and no longer exists as a separate destination.
What formats does Joblift accept for job listings? XML feed, PDF, or crawling of a careers page, per Joblift's own recruiting site -- with several named XML guide variants for different advertising products plus a JSON option for ATS integrations, though the field-level schema isn't publicly published.
How long does it take for a submitted job to go live? Joblift states a maximum of 48 hours from submission.
Does Joblift charge per click or a flat fee? Both models exist per Joblift's employer pages: flat-rate packages from roughly EUR699-999/month for a single listing, and performance-based CPC/CPA pricing available from a 20-listing minimum with budgets from about EUR2,500/month.
Should I still integrate with Joblift given the Adzuna acquisition? If your hiring focus is Germany specifically, yes -- Joblift.de persists as a brand. If you were relying on Joblift for the UK, US, France, Belgium, Italy or the Netherlands, that traffic now runs through Adzuna directly, and it's worth confirming with your account contact whether to build against Joblift's or Adzuna's feed spec going forward.
